Monique D. Gentile | Intellectual Property Paralegal

Monique became part of the team at Maxey Law Offices, PLLC in 2012. Monique is a paralegal for the Clearwater office's prosecution and litigation team members, for whom she serves as an analyst and key point-person for client information, correspondence and draft documents. Overall, her core mission is to assist legal teams as needed and to ensure that client and case documentation is properly organized and readily available for the attorneys.

Monique first began working with the team at Maxey Law Offices as part of a sixteen-week internship through the St. Petersburg College's Paralegal Studies program. The opportunity to see the dynamics of a law practice and its team members provided a wonderful learning experience and enabled her to apply classroom knowledge hands-on and recognize her appreciation for the legal specialty of intellectual property law, noting that such a niche expertise features so many intricacies and provides plenty of interesting areas to explore and learn about. 

Monique earned her BAS in Paralegal Studies from St. Petersburg College and will be completing her certification in 2012. Originally From New York, she resides in Pinellas with her 10-year-old son. When she is not working, Monique enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with family and friends, helping out at her son's school as a volunteer and attending live performing arts events. She also is a long-time supporter of a nonprofit organizations especially near and dear to hear heart, including St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
