Evelyn Defillo become of counsel to Maxey Law Offices, PLLC in 2009. Evelyn's practice focuses on intellectual property matters
including client counseling, all aspects of the procurement
of patents including drafting and prosecuting US and
foreign patent applications in the
chemical, biotechnology, mechanical, and pharmaceutical
arts.
Her experience includes the representation of foreign patent firms
in US patent application filings, and US national stage filings. Evelyn is fluent in Spanish and is responsible for managing the US
patent filings for a number of South American patent firms,
corporations, and individual inventors. She is also a former US
Patent Examiner where she was assigned to
examine patent applications related to semi-conductor
manufacture,
particularly semi-conductor crystal growth
Evelyn received her Chemical Engineering
degree from UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL PEDRO HENRIQUEZ URENA, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
